Our pure Himalayan mountain coffees from the capital city, Kathmandu, and Rupakot, a small hilltop village in Nepal, are the culmination of our three year search for the pinnacle of exceptional coffee. In exploring the world of coffee, we were not satisfied with what is readily available to us and other roasters. New countries must be explored, across mountains and dirt roads into unique, emerging land as pure and untouched as the snow-capped Himalayan mountains.

Nepal's Coffee Culture

Nepal is a small Himalayan country with a unique geography that provides suitable conditions for growing high-quality coffee. The coffee grown in Nepal is predominantly of the Arabica variety and is known for its unique flavor profile, which includes hints of floral and citrus notes.

At the community level, coffee cultivation has helped to create new opportunities for local farmers and has improved their livelihoods. In addition, coffee cultivation has also helped to conserve the natural resources in the area as coffee is grown under the shade of trees, which helps to preserve the local biodiversity.

The government of Nepal, along with various non-governmental organizations, has also provided support to the farmers in the region to improve their farming techniques, increase their yields, and access better markets for their coffee.
